Okay so I’ve watched the sneak peek like 654362 times and I tried to pick out the small details but I noticed some things. Killian is clearly uncomfortable with lying/avoiding the question, while Emma who would have shut down completely in the past is more like “you’re holding something back” as in “you don’t have to be afraid to tell me” instead of accusing him, and you can clearly see Killian avoiding her eyes when she questions him and stepping away from her when he starts to get nervous with it.
