I just saw an article that was criticizing Karen and Claire’s roles in Daredevil. It said they were only there to provide emotional support for the men. Did they even watch the show? Claire fixes Matt because she’s a nurse, but she sets clear emotion boundaries. She is not there to soothe his ego. And Karen fuels the entire conflict with Fisk! Her role in that is equally important as Matt’s, and saying otherwise is sexism disguised as a critique.
