It has taken me many many years to become comfortable enough with my chronic illnesses and disabilities to share my journey openly and be photographed with my cane, wheelchair, braces, or my prednisone chipmunk cheeks! But let me tell you, it feels AMAZING to finally embrace my body as it is today – having survived so many battles – and rediscover my beauty as a disabled woman!
