Hey, can you all stop reblogging that post about the Texas minister who actually killed himself because the guy that threatened it is a different fella than the guy that went through with it. The guy that went through with it actually did it as a way to try and bring to light the racism in hometown and America as a whole. He wasn’t against marriage equality at all.

Celebrating his death, his suicide, is actually awful as hell and shameful. He wasn’t the bad guy.

in fact the minister who committed suicide by self-immolation was outstandingly pro-LGBT and killed hmself as a way to make his community more aware of the long-standing racism within it. please, please do not make fun of this man’s death.
