Has got to stop its so fucking wrong. Tumblr pretends to be a “safe space” and a beacon of feminism and social justice but you’ll make fun of someone who had to go to rehab for bullemia and had body issues. (I personally don’t like Demi because of her friendship with iggy) All of you talk about all these things you went through and then turn around and make a meme about a child (idgaf if it’s fictional because it really happens) being locked in a basement because of how she looks… That’s not okay. That’s like telling me that my abuser was right and I’m crazy and worthless… It’s insensitive and wrong. Not only is it fucked up to joke about abuse but it’s also ableist (you can say the meme is about the way the photo was taken but let’s face it you’re just an ass who was waiting to tear her down because she looked bad). I went through the tag and no one is speaking up about this! It honestly pisses me off… Like y’all talk about trigger warnings but what if someone was held captive and saw that on here (because it’s not tagged) and it triggers them. I did make a few posts about the meme but that was before I realized what effect it has. It’s completely ignorant and ugly to turn abuse into a joke
