  • would both die for anne shirley-cuthbert that’s a strong parallel
  • Jerry has a lot to catch up on school-wise and I bet Gilbert would be glad to help him out
  • Gilbert is so bad at farming and Jerry could help him there
  • Jerry would definitely be all big-brother over Gilbert’s crush on Anne but he’d def think they’d be cute together
  • Jerry teaching Gilbert French swear words 
  • If another fire happens, Jerry and Gilbert would be the ones to climb the ladder and throw water instead of Billy and they would kick ass at it
  • Anne would be oddly jealous of losing her two friends to each other but then the three of them hang out at Green Gables and it’s adorable
  • gilbert spending more time at Green Gables in general would be a blessing but like to tutor Jerry would be so sweet
