I hope drabbles are okay instead of headcanons !!!! I’m feeling more drabble-y tonight lol!!! Here’s how each guy would apologize / make up after a fight. I was going to do Freddie, but I am EXHAUSTED right now! I’ll add him to the mix ASAP.

Roger Taylor.
Roger tends to go big or go home when it comes down to his apologies, a lot like his personality, he has to put a flare in it that reflects his softer side, which is rather romantic as he is aware that his more brash side can get him in more trouble at times like this. He does go towards a more romantic apology, outwardly seeking your forgiveness without flat out begging for it. Typical Roger.
Roger glanced down at the dozen of roses nestled into his arms. He had done this what felt like a dozen times in your relationship, if not more at this point but… The end was always worth it. The beginning… Not so much. He hated bickering. Something he was sure happened in every domestic relationship, but flat out fighting and arguing about some obscure piece of information was not his ideal way to spend his afternoon. There’s a small bit of fear as he opens the front door of the flat, that you won’t accept his apology this time around and things are just going to get progressively worse before breaking up. He always worries about that. Swallowing softly, he looks up and catches eyes with you as you were sitting on the couch in the living room. You spotted the flowers right away, gazing at them momentarily before glancing elsewhere to seem unamused. But, truth be told, you were amused. You were always ready to melt into his arms when he showed up with flowers. Always, always.
“I’m sorry for starting a fight about such a stupid thing.” He finally speaks up, shutting the door behind him and making his way towards you. Roger starts off with some distance between the two of you, almost afraid to move any closer. “I love you and I hate… Fightin’ like this. We always do this when I come home from tour.” He shuffled closer before sitting on the couch next to you. Your eyes caught hold of his once more and you found it hard to look away. “We just need to… Re-think and work things out like we always do. I know me being away for months at a time doesn’t help. Oh, christ…” He uttered under his breath, “I’ve never been good at this goddamn apologies so I hope…” Roger lifted the flowers weakly and covered his face with them, as if he were afraid of you not accepting his makeshift of an apology. “You understand what I’m trying to say.”
There was a moment of silence as you just stared at him, though your view was obscured by the flowers. You sighed and leaned forward, grasping them out of his hands. “I understand, babe.” You smile reassuringly, pressing a hand to his arm gently and rubbing. Roger looks down at the sudden wall of affection you’re showing him before he draws his gaze back to you now with tenderness written all over his expression. He was a soft man, something he rarely let others peek into so seeing him so vulnerable made you feel special. “I’m sorry too, it wasn’t just your fault…”
“I will always forgive you, my love.” Roger’s voice was meek and barely above a whisper. He rocked on his heels a bit and leaned towards you for a kiss. “Think you have it in you to forgive your screw up of a boyfriend?”
You caved, pressing your lips to his slowly, one hand holding the dozen of roses and the other pressing against his chest as if you were trying to keep him at a distance. “I’d like to see you grovel a bit more, but yes…” You kiss his nose before dropping another kiss onto his pouty and inviting mouth. “You’re forgiven a hundred times over.”
Brian May.
Despite having a bickering here and there, those tend to be resolved without any sort of apology. Brian will go out of his way to apologize after a big fight because he hates the tension that’s often between the two of you after one. He seeks to resolve it as soon as possible so it doesn’t bubble into something bigger.
Brian very seldom lost his temper, and at this point, he wasn’t even sure if the argument was worth all the promises of shouting that were lingering in the air between the two of you as you explained to him over and over again that you were lonely and weren’t getting enough quality time with him. This was an argument that seemed to go around and around in your relationship. Brian was admittedly busy with Queen. Recording an album and then going on tour straight away for that album. Pressing his hands to his lips in a prayer like position, Brian sighed and dropped his shoulders forward. He understood where your frustration was coming from and there was no doubt that you understood where his was coming from as well. He was famous– and with fame came the loss of personal time, especially when you were in a band on the road almost constantly. Swallowing hard, he stood up from the bed and decided that apologizing would be best before things spiraled into another fight. You had taken your spot in the kitchen where the fight had initially started before Brian walked away to the bedroom to simmer down, and when he emerged, you were still there, now holding your head in your hands as if you had a headache. “(Name)?” Brian peeped up and softly made his way towards you, the wooden floorboards creaking slightly under his weight. “Love, please…” He begged without an ounce of shame before crouching down onto his knees beside you. “Please, at least look at me.”
You did that, lifting your head enough to look over at him. “Even if I could change things, I wouldn’t. I want you to understand that. My career is my thing and I want you with me every step of the way.” Narrowing your eyes, you waited to hear an apology that you knew was coming. “And I’m sorry that it gets in the way of things. I’m sorry I’m not here for moments at a time, for important things but I want you to know that I still love you and-and there’s still a ton of moments I will be there for…” You sniffled as he lifted a hand and wiped a tear away from your face. “I’m sorry I’ve made you cry again and I’m such an idiot for doing this over and over again…”
You laughed weakly and wiped your face after Brian did, “You really are…” Uttering under your breath, you leaned over and let yourself fall against your tall boyfriend. “I’m s-sorry. I didn’t mean for this to start a fight, I just m-miss you sometimes and I ju-…”
“I know…” Brian told you, pressing his lips to your forehead, falling back so he was in a seated position before tugging you into his arms. Tucking back a piece of your hair, he kissed your forehead once more and murmured against your skin. “I miss you too… How about… I take a few days off and we take a small holiday together?”
“C-Can you manage that?”
“I think Freddie’ll understand.”
John Deacon.
John is a sweet talker and this comes in handy when it comes to apologies. He’ll apologize whether or not the fight was initially his fault. Seeks forgiveness like there’s no tomorrow and is absolutely willing to do anything to get it, even after you’ve forgiven him. He’ll offer you things, he’ll say the sweetest things. He’s good at apologizing.
Rubbing your forehead was the only plausible thing that you could do. John had gotten drunk the night before at one of the Queen after parties. And while he was usually a quiet soul otherwise, drinking put him into a completely different realm of possibilities and outcomes. Some good, some… Not so good. You’d just told him of what happened the night before and from the look on his face, he remembered but not as vividly as you did. He had gone around telling more than enough people about your sex life, people you didn’t know. You wouldn’t have given a hoot had he told Brian, Roger or Freddie– They were your friends as well as John’s friends so you figured that the topic had come up with them before, especially with Freddie. But, these were strangers. Who for the rest of the night at the party, kept looking at you once John had spoken to them about private matters. You were embarrassed to say the least and ended up dragging him home around midnight. Almost literally if he had one more drink. And now, the morning after and a few tylenol later, John was sitting on the bed, looking up at you with apologetic eyes. “I’m sorry, I—”
“Sorry doesn’t cover the fact that you told people we don’t know about something that should only be between us, Deaky.”
You can tell from his body language that saying what you had just stated surprised his more than anything. You rarely ever bit back during fights and they were resolved easily, but this one was a bit outside his realm of comfort. What was he supposed to say then if he couldn’t say sorry? Swallowing hard, he looked at you and then looked at his feet. He’d say sorry again if he could. “What do you want me to say, (Name)?”
Your mouth shut as you looked at your boyfriend, his long hair still tangled from a mess of sleep. “The only thing I can say is sorry until you eventually forgive me… I need you to forgive me.”
“I do forgive you, John.” You rarely called him that and it felt weird slipping off your tongue, “I forgive you because I love you I’m just a little…” You shrugged your shoulders. “Embarrassed, I guess. So many people know more about what’s going on between us than we do, it feels.” Rubbing your arms, you murmured, “It’s embarrassing, you know.”
He nodded, understanding right away where you were coming from. He’d gotten himself into this mess by blabbering. John dropped his shoulders and patted the bedside next to him. You sat down and put your head on his shoulder. “I’m sorry, my love. I really am. If I could turn back time, I’d take everything I said back.”
“I know you would, honey.”
“I’m sorry…” He tilted his head to the side and kissed your hairline. “Anything I can do to help you feel better?”
“Hold me?”
“Consider it done.” John said and wrapped his arms around you, tugging you closer to him as the two of you fell back onto the bed.
Freddie will be added sometime in the next few days! I’m just tired and wanted to get these guys posted before bed!! Thank you for reading, hope you all enjoyed!!! Likes and reblogs are always appreciated! Have a good one!
