A Banquet

Hey friends! I wrote a thing for my OC (Lily) and totally-not-a-gay-angel (the BAE)’s OC, Augusta. Enjoy!

“They always
had to spend their time together.” thought William as he admired Augusta
from across the courtyard, watching the two sit on the steps talking about
whatever it was females discuss.

“Do it William.
Do it.” he muttered to himself under his breath.

She looked so
beautiful in the sunshine, smooth, dark hair settled on her shoulder, sitting
against a cold marble pillar talking to the other one, Lily.

He would go over
there and ask her, she would look at him and smile. She had such a beautiful
smile.

He didn’t.

They’d have such a
good time at the banquet. They’d laugh, he’d get to know the story behind the
strange and beautiful eyes of hers, he’d charm her.

But he still
couldn’t move.

“William
Whele.” A deep accented voice came from behind the slick-haired man’s hiding place, making it ver apparent that he was staring at the two women from behind a large marble pillar. On the ground.

“Michael. Hey-Hello.” He stuttered as the tall archangel stared down at him, face blank. “If you desire Ms. Augusta’s company for the banquet tonight. You needn’t be afraid to ask."

The shorter man’s face reddened with uncharacteristic emotion as he blurted out a response, "Well I don’t see YOU asking Lily out tonight. I heard them discussing dress choices."

"At least i’m standing upright, not hiding behind a pillar.” shot back Michael, seeming to puff up with rage.

“At least i’m actually looking at my darling, not ignoring her very existence.”

Now it was Michael’s turn to anger. He mused over the ways he would end William, all of which ended with him and Lily together someplace else.

But it was William Whele. He was too important.

He was right thought. That was the worst part. So he just stared at him silently, that usually worked.

“Hello boys.” Lily’s voice shook the two from their staring contest, Augusta standing behind her, looking at the two intently, as usual.

“What’s going on?” Augusta asked the two.

“Archaengel Michael and I were just discussing very important matters of state, right?” Wiliam replied smoothly, impressing himself.

“Are we done here, William?"

"Yes I believe we are."

The two couldn’t of left that corridor faster.

Live to fight another day, as they say.
