We met Jared at LAX couple of years ago, he was flying back to Vancouver after Comic Con. DD spotted him as we were getting off the plane he was waiting to board. My normally shy kid wanted to get an autograph from her favorite actor, but I was a bit nervous about the possibility he’d blow her off. He was on the phone, sitting off by himself, but as soon as he got off the phone and saw that she was waiting to speak to him, he greeted her. He was so incredibly personable and kind. He showed us photos of his son on his phone, asked her about her vacation, chatted with her about the show, asked us if we’d like a picture with him, asked her how to spell her name when he signed her boarding pass. He was actually a bit late boarding. I could see how he really went above and beyond. She’d just recently lost her beloved grandpa after his long battle with ALS, and that encounter with Jared…she said she couldn’t have asked for kinder….was such an unexpected gift.
It’s sad to see the unkind comments speculating about what “exhaustion” really means. Perhaps people feel quite clever throwing darts from the safety of their keyboards. Jared has a v consistent track record of kindness to his fans, he doesn’t deserve that. But then again, it’s mostly a reflection of the commenter.
Marvel and Netflix have created quite a buzz with the Daredevil series. The character is a highly trained martial artist. This excellent fight scene choreographed by action choreographer Phillip Silvera shows that one doesn’t need tons of CGI (or any in this case) to produce a compelling, realistic fight scene. Kudos to Marvel, Netflix and the action department of this production!
