Headcanon: Steve & Matt work out at the same gym and have exchanged grunts with each other. Steve has noticed that Matt is a good fighter (and Steve has access to his S.H.I.E.L.D file), and plans on eventually recruiting Matt to come aboard.

This series has been demanded because of Hayley Atwell. I think we did a fairly good job of writing her in the first movie. But there’s only so much that you can fill in a movie with that much plot and that many characters and that much superheroism going on. And she just sort of pops off the screen in her brief time in the movie.
