the irony of “CULTURE SHOULD BE SHARED!!!” arguments is a lot of poc do try sharing their cultures with you and you deem it disgusting. when i suggested making paper lanterns to sell, i was literally told “nobody wnats your dirty chinese things.” when a vietnamese girl brought in mooncakes to the class, everyone spit them out in front of her and dumped their unfinished ones on me because lol im naturally supposed to like these things.
when we try to open up to you and share our cultures, you mock and degrade us and call us dirty, disgusting. you just want to cherry pick and have the watered down western-centric gaze of our cultures but never actually live the way we do cuz lol fuck those dirty ethnics amirite???
